Electrode Placement

Electrodes should be placed between a motor point and tendon insertion, or between two motor points. They should also be placed along the midline of the muscle in order to prevent signal crosstalk between adjacent muscles. By placing electrodes parallel to the longitudinal axis of the muscle, this also ensures the detection surfaces will interest common muscle fibres.
